OP-ED Final

Hello! The oped piece should be presented the size you would intend it to be printed at, on an 8.5 x 11 minimum printout. You should consider it the file you would send The New York Times as your final piece. It should not be mounted(though if it is that is okay). If you need to include text as it would be part of the layout, then do so. If you think 8.5 x 11 is to small then make it bigger. Do what you need to do to make it look good.

Please be on time. This critique will be in group format again. If you do not turn it in tomorrow you will receive a 0.  For an A grade you would need to set the bar for the class and appear to be ready for the real OPED page. B's are excellent student work, C's average quality, effort and craft. D's everything else. F's did not put work up. I will grade your work over the weekend and you may collect the work after class on Monday. If you would like to improve your grade, you may make the necessary revisions and continue to bring it in for individual critique after class, continuing to refine your work until it looks professional, however if you do not bring in your final the first time it is due this opportunity of further refinement and obtaining a better grade is void. The day of the final is when your grades are permanently set.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone's work tomorrow!

Blessings,
Professor Sumpter
